Q. - Does the City have a health inspector? Some one that inspects unhealthy situations to get them corrected.

 

I have a garbage dump in my front door...management here at the Sr Terraces have tried to get the Trash Pickup company to change the dumpster, since its bottom is rusted out and maggots and garbage spews out after a small rain.

 

We have to walk right through it to get to car etc. It should be checked out by someone with authority or a big stick.

The City contracts with an individual qualified as a health inspector. His duties involve the inspection of facilities preparing food but the position does not involve the situation you describe.

 

Your comments have been forwarded to the appropriate City staff person and the situation will be investigated and action called for will be taken as needed within a matter of days.
